We are pleased to announce that Ysgol y Preseli has organised a textile collection with “Bag2School” in order to raise funds for the school!

Bag2School is one of the UK’s leading textile recyclers and fundraisers,

and has paid out over £15 million since its inception in 2001!

WHY take part in "Bag 2 School"?

1. To raise money for the school!
2. To re-use unwanted items!
3. To divert unwanted textiles away from landfill!
4. To make more space in your homes!

WHO can contribute?

EVERYONE! This includes: 

* Pupils * Parents * Relatives * Neighbours * Members of our community * Friends.... ...anyone!

WHAT is accepted?

• Adults' clothing and children's clothing
• Shoes (please tie together)
• Hats
• Belts
• Bags
• Soft Toys
• Curtains
• Bedding (no‘duvets’ or pillows). 

HOW?

1. Place your unwanted items in a bag (blue bag for pupils from years 7-9; any bag for everyone else e.g. bin liner). Remember that you are more than welcome to fill more than one bag! 

2. Return your bags to the school immediately after half-term

BAG COLLECTION WEEK: 18-22/2/13

We will receive £500 per tonne or £0.50/kg which will be a great boost for our fundraising campaign. In addition it will also raise awareness of the benefits of recycling and reuse amongst our pupils
